The Dual Channel Video Disc Recorder (VDR) has been design to provide a cost effective solution to your High Definition SDI 'Ingest' and 'Play-out' needs for 3D, 'Key & Fill' and general Dual Channel 2D applications

This Dual Channel VDR is based on instant access tapeless technology (nanosecond resolution) and designed for simple intuitive operation in the field or in live broadcast production environments.

In addition to the local console, an easy to use network management tool makes available all the common functionality of this 'Dual Channel VDR'.

A very easy to use Pictorial Tile 'Shot Box' menu feature for quick Cue, Play or Repeat of common used 'Clips' is included.

Control via network TCP/IP sockets, RS422, 7" Touch Screen and Web Server is standard.

Clips can also be 'EXPORTED' to CD-R, DVD-R, BD-R, SD Card or CF Card or USB Memory stick for transportability by pressing the 'Export Button', then select from the available media found, a simple three touch action.

However, it is envisaged you would connect the VDR's RS422 to the vision mixing desks on a "Machine Control Port", with the VDR I/O connected to the AUX bus on the desk, allowing the vision mixer to source whatever feeds required into them, controlling: Record / Pause / Cue, etc from the mixer.
