Worlds First Multi-channel Blue-ray HDSDI Recorder System
This new Multi-channel HD Blue-ray recorder system is based on the recently announced universal format BD recorder 'Blue-George'
A 'Blue-George' optional software update transforms the BD recorder into Multi-channel 'Master controller for driving and synchronising Slave' BD recorders.
Because 'Blue-George' burns to disc in almost 'Real-Time' the requirement for multi-channel systems have been requested by our customer base.
The number of 'Slave' recorders is unlimited and are simply networked together.
We have also miniaturised the standard 'Blue George' to 1U for space restricted environments, but multiple standard 'Blue-George' recorders can also be used.
A typical application is a live televised football match transmission.
Multiple Blue-ray recorded discs following the end of a game can be issued within 15 minutes to the officials, home team, away team etc.
Near Real-time Blue-Ray Disc recording of Multi-channels of SDI Video in:
- NTSC/NTSC23.98/PAL
- 1080i@50/60Hz
- 1080p@23.98 or 24Hz
- 720p@50/60Hz
- Blue-Ray drives will write single layer 25GB discs, exact amount of footage per disc will be controllable via level of compression.
- Each unit will have internal HDD for caching Video whilst it's being written to Blue-Ray Disc.
- Expected Disc finalisation process duration: less than 15 minutes.
- Control via TCP/IP Network socket.
